New Feature: Custom Multi-Expiration Strategies

Since day one OptionStrat has had support for multi-expiration strategies such as calendar and diagonal spreads, and today we are launching an update to enhance the multi-expiration features.

Now it is possible to add an additional expiration date to any strategy, as well as change the expiration date that each individual leg uses. This allows you to turn existing strategies into multi-expiration strategies, without starting all over from a template as you previously had to do.

To add a new expiration, simply click the new “Add Expiration” button. Now you can click on an option leg and select “Use front-month” or “Use back-month” to set the expiration for it. Additionally, a warning will appear for any unused expirations prompting you to set an option or remove it.
